I learned how to paint on the bandshell in Pasadena, using convetinal spray to paint gradients on walls in 1978.

 

 

 

 

I moved to 29 Palms in the desert to paint the inn at the oasis of mara where I used gradients to blend the buildings into the desert.

some local business people liked the work – I was asked to design an exterior for a new restaurant in the plaza, but it stayed on the paper.
